While chatting with hundreds of readers in the past few weeks, I heard several Frequently Asked Questions, or FAQ, about my historical novel, Finding Flora. I will do my best to answer them here.

My friends, I am back home taking a break after my whirlwind book tour, in which Finding Flora reached Number One Bestseller in Canadian Fiction for the entire country! Check out some of these wonderful book tour photos.

My mother’s hat collection gave me the idea to host a Fancy Hat Contest at the launch of my new historical novel, Finding Flora.

What homesteaders ate depended on what they could buy and bring with them, plus what they could harvest and kill. Some of the less fortunate were forced to give up their homesteads or starve to death.
