No matter how old you are, it’s time to tell your own story, not only for your own children and grandchildren, but for the historians of the future. Wartime fiction makes great reading. Since I’m less concerned with military strategy, and more interested in how war affects people’s hearts and minds, my best wartime fiction is laden with drama and romance.
